Robbie is a firefighter and the couple met when Maddie (a tv reporter) interviewed hime after he saved a blind and deaf dog from a frozen pond during a blizzard. At their wedding, they played a news clip made from the day they met. The couple also had a vintage Lewes Fire Truck that was fully restored for their wedding day and it served as their getaway car. Their wedding hashtag was #ThankstoBuddy, as Buddy is the dog that Robbie rescued, and the reason they met.
